I. Historical Note:
The Fund was established
in 1907 by a gift of $500 from Dr. A.W. deRoaldes, President of the
Association (1906). The Fund was increased in 1941 to $4,000 by action
of the Council.
II. Purpose:
To establish an
award to be presented to an individual whose outstanding work in
Laryngology and Rhinology deserves special recognition.
III. Administration:
1. The income
from the Fund shall be used to cover the expenses of the Award,
i.e., a medal and a certificate usually granted every three years.
